Updated at: 1127 PST, Wednesday, March 04, 2009 SINGAPORE: Crude prices in Asian markets today were seen on the decline. In Singapore markets today, US crude April contract down by 54 cents was seen at $41.11 per barrel, while London Brent North Sea April contract eroded by 59 cents traded at $43.11.Analysts attributed fall in crude prices to the US aggravating recession situation and massive layoff of 0.6 million employees and, thereby, drop in US consumption of energy which incidentally is the largest consumer of energy in the world..
